Admissions

Frequently asked questions

What are the entry requirements?
None. Programmes are written for working crews and assume no prior medical or HSE training, only working English.
How do module tests work?
Each module ends with 12 multiple-choice questions. You need 8 correct answers to pass; the next module unlocks immediately afterwards. Module tests may be retaken as often as needed.
How many attempts do I get at the final exam?
The final examination is 20 questions drawn from the full syllabus with a pass mark of 15. You have 3 attempts. If all attempts are used, contact admissions about re-enrolment.
Is progress saved if I stop mid-course?
Yes. Completed and passed modules are recorded to your account, so you always resume where you left off — useful for crews studying between shifts.
What does the certificate look like?
A bilingual (English / Norwegian) certificate of completion showing your full name, the programme, the completion date and a unique verification code an employer can check online.
How does trade certificate verification work?
Upload up to two PDF documents, pay the €145 fee and our verification desk assesses the certificate in approximately 10 working days. Verified candidates receive a shareable code. The fee is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee, even if the decision is negative.
Can my employer pay or enrol a whole crew?
Yes. Register as a company to buy seats in bulk, invite team members and track completion from one dashboard.
Do you issue promotional or sponsored places?
Occasionally, through partner operators. Any code issued to you is applied at checkout; codes are never published on the site.
